CleanLIFE is an Australian made range of plastic free wet wipes for personal care, household and commercial use.

Part of The Hygiene Co., CleanLIFE provides sustainable solutions for hygiene, disinfection and cleaning. Our wipes are made with 100% plant based fibres, gentle ingredients and are cruelty free. They are biodegradable and compostable, with selected body and personal hygiene products certified flushable and breaking down by up to 80% in less than 45 days.

More than 96% of wet wipes used in Australia are imported and made with plastic. Each year, this contributes over 25 million kilograms of plastic waste to landfill, which is around 30 times more than plastic straws. In addition, shipping billions of wipes into Australia generates more than 10,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.

CleanLIFE was created to offer a better alternative.

By manufacturing locally and using plant based fibres instead of plastic, CleanLIFE significantly reduces environmental impact while delivering effective, high quality wipes. After use, our compostable wipes can be placed directly into a compost bin, where they help create healthy soil and support ongoing plant growth.

Please note: the outer packaging is made of plastic. We’ve tested alternatives such as cornstarch and other materials, but at this stage there isn’t a viable option that keeps the wet wipes in optimal condition and prevents mould.
