Palm Oil
We aim to avoid palm derived ingredients and we don’t use palm oil directly in HiBAR products. That said, similar to most personal care brands, some ingredients may be derived from common plant-based fatty acids. Those can come from a combination of multiple sources. We’re a small company and not venture-backed, so we have not gone through the process of obtaining a certification like RSPO that can certify 100% the absence of palm throughout our supply chain. To this point, we have focused our efforts and financial resources toward certification for cruelty-free through Leaping Bunny and vegan certification.
