Our Story

Eco Cheeks were founded with the belief that what we put on, in, and around our bodies contributes to our overall health and wellbeing.  We are passionate about preserving our beautiful planet and want to provide safer, more sustainable options when it comes to everyday disposable products.

What does Eco Cheeks do?

We create safer more sustainable options for our everyday disposable paper products with no harmful chemicals and helping the fight against deforestation by being tree free.  We use 100% FSC bamboo which is an incredibly sustainable and pest free plant.  It can grown over 1m a day and there are no chemical pesticides or herbicides needed.

Why did we start Eco Cheeks?

When I learnt that conventional toilet papers use chlorine bleach to whiten them, and that when bleach and paper pulp are mixed together they create dioxins a known toxin,  I thought it was crazy that without knowing the full dangers, we’re then putting it on one of the most absorbent areas of the body.  I simply looked for an alternative, but there was nothing on the market that was 100% free of bleach or whitening agents, so that is when I became a toilet paper enthusiast and did it myself.  It doesn’t stop and toilet paper as tissues, wet wipes and paper towel are the same and we will bring these better options to the market.

What makes our products unique or special?

The removal of all toxins and nasty chemicals, but still creating a high quality product.  I believe that many of us want to make better choices, but if those switches are enjoyable then it's just not sustainable.  So yes, we’re beige, but we’re also thick, soft and have a neat tear 100% of the time.
